This is a pre and post x-ray of a 69 y/o female patient of ours. The photo on the left shows a Grade 4 osteoarthritis, (which is what most patients call ‘Bone on Bone’). She already had a hip replacement in her left hip that was very problematic for her and she was instructed to get her right hip replaced by her orthopedic surgeon. Instead, she chose to have stem cells injected into her hip joint. The picture on the right was taken 6 months after a single injection of our umbilical cord derived stem cells. Notice the growth of the joint space. She is now able to dance again and return to all of the things she loves to do. Also, she is no longer a candidate for joint replacement surgery, and likely never will be again.
